The truth is no one is perfect… Not even your life coach.

Hi friends!

I am truly honored that you chose to visit my website today. My intention with this site and all of my social media attached to it is to show you that perfection is not a truly attainable thing. But what is attainable is becoming happy, healthy and balanced and staying that way for the long run. If this were an easy task then we would all have it mastered but, the truth is that it’s something that we have to work on our entire lives. Sounds a bit daunting, doesn’t it? Well, the good news is that I am here to keep you accountable and provide you with the tools and coaching needed for everlasting success with all of your ambitions.

Think of me as a personal trainer for your mind, body, spirit and emotions. When you have a personal trainer the biggest thing that keeps you fit is the fact that you have your trainer giving you the tools you need to accomplish your goals. Your trainer will provide you with homework each week and then hold you accountable for that homework completion at your next session. The success rate is incredible while you are consistently seeing your trainer. However, the second “life” happens and you suddenly have to put your training on hold, you are then forced to rely on your own self discipline to continue striving toward your target goal. It is said that about 8% of the population is actually able to stick with it and reach their goal. Can you guess what percentage of people stay at their target for longer than five years? Needless to say, most of us will fall right back to where we started and become unmotivated to reach our goals once again. It’s a very challenging and vicious cycle and can be applicable to any goal you have set for yourself. The fantastic news is that I am here to be your accountability life coach! Whatever the goal, I can help you accomplish it and stick with it!

I would like to take the time to tell you a little about myself. From age 18 to 28 I worked in the customer service department at Whole Foods Market. I learned a tremendous amount during my time spent here and realized two crucial things about myself. 1) I have a huge passion for helping others and 2) It is incredibly important to me to take care of my mind, body and spirit.

Here’s a picture of me to put a face to the name:

I felt compelled to leave Whole Foods to serve my greater purpose… whatever that purpose may be. I just knew deep in my gut that I could stay “comfortable” at Whole Foods forever but, that it was not my true purpose in life. I discovered something called an Integrative Wellness Life Coach and knew that was what I needed to become. I spent six months studying to become certified, while traveling across the country and truly finding myself. It was the best time of my life. I became a certified wellness life coach and couldn’t wait to begin. I very quickly became aware of how expensive it is to market yourself and start out as the new coach on the block. I was forced to find another job to pay the bills. I promised myself that I would make time for coaching, but I ended up getting two low paying restaurant jobs just to attempt to make ends meet. Miserable in these jobs, the new job search began and my life coaching dream had to be put on hold for the time being.

After spending two years job jumping and continuing to be just as broke, 20 lbs heavier, stressed beyond belief and with no time left for my family at the end of the day, I finally said enough is enough. It is time to get my life coaching career off the ground. But look at me, I am a complete mess right now. How can I possibly coach another when I can’t even get my own life together? Instantly the limiting beliefs flooded in and I went into a state of depression. I read a quote that said “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can. Just start.” by Arthur Ashe and a light bulb suddenly appeared. I am going to put myself out there imperfections and all, and just see what happens. I am going to show all of you that I can accomplish and maintain all of my goals while working a full time job, making time for my family, friends and myself. And because this project will be such a success, becoming an accountability life coach will soon become my full time job.

The majority of my posts are going to be me sharing with all of you my own personal goals, and having you guys hold me accountable simply by coming to my blog and maybe even following me on my other social media pages. If I know someone is watching I will be a thousand times more inclined to accomplish and stick with my goals. You will help me and in turn I will offer you a blog that will educate you, motivate you, inspire you and guide you on your personal journey to true wellbeing.

I appreciate you so much for coming to my blog and taking the time to read my intro. Please keep up with my progress through my blog and reach out to me on my contact page if you would like to talk about your goals and come up with a game plan to achieve them.

In love and wellness,
